Robert Irwin says he may never know how his late dad, Steve Irwin, would have reacted to the glow of Dancing with the Stars, but he’s embracing the chance to honor his legacy by bringing that same boundless energy to the dance floor.
His family has rallied behind him—his sister and mom flew in to cheer him on—while his sister, a former DWTS champion, encourages him to savor the moment.
As the show premieres this fall, Robert hopes his tribute will shine through every twirl and step.
