Elon Musk, the well-known billionaire, once again addressed the issue of declining birth rates in Greece with a post on platform X.
In his post, Musk called this phenomenon the “dҽᶏth of Greece” and shared the news about 700 schools being shut down in the country.
This is not the first time Musk has raised concerns about this issue in Greece; earlier, in April 2024, he wrote that “Greece is experiencing a demographic collapse,” while in September of the same year he expressed his surprise at the fact that in the country the number of dҽᶏths is twice as high as the number of births.
The decline in birth rates, combined with emigration, is seriously challenging the demographic structure of Greece, bringing significant consequences for the country’s society and economy.
