‘Pawn Stars’ star Corey Harrison begs fans for help paying motorcycle accident bills

“Pawn Stars” star Corey Harrison is begging fans for help paying his medical bills after his shocking near-fatal motorcycle crash in Mexico earlier this year.

Aron Chambers, one of Corey’s closest friends, launched a GoFundMe page for the “Pawn Stars” alum earlier this week.

“With his full knowledge and blessing, we’re raising emergency funds to cover more than $100,000 in medical bills and related expenses after a serious motorcycle accident in Tulum, Mexico, that left him fighting for his life,” Chambers wrote.

Besides breaking 11 ribs, Chambers revealed that the reality TV alum, 42, also suffered a punctured lung, a concussion and internal bleeding.

Although Corey was promtly rushed to a hospital in Playa del Carmen, Chambers noted that “costs add up fast” and the “financial pressure became too much” for the former History Channel star.

“Corey had no choice but to check himself out against medical advice,” Chambers wrote. “We brought him back to his home in Tulum, hoping some rest would turn things around.”

He continued, “It didn’t. Within hours, Corey was in excruciating pain.”

While a doctor made a house call to administer IV fluids and morphine treatments to Corey, Chambers explained that he was “incredibly hesitant to take heavy pain meds” after his brother Adam suffered a drug overdose just last year.

Adam Harrison tragically died from a fentanyl overdose in January 2024. He was 39.

Chambers also recalled one “heartbreaking moment” after Corey’s “oxygen levels plummeted to dangerously low levels.”

“I’m just going to die out here,” the “Pawn Stars” alum said, according to his close friend. “I don’t have the money to keep paying these people.”

Despite starring with his famous dad, Rick Harrison, on “Pawn Stars” for more than 20 seasons, Corey still had to empty “his entire bank account to cover what he could” of the more than $100,000 medical bills.

“Being on television and part of ‘Pawn Stars’ fame doesn’t come with a built-in safety net for emergencies like this — medical crises don’t care about celebrity status,” Chambers noted.

Beyond the hefty medical bills, Corey is also said to be “three months behind on rent” and “still facing ongoing follow-up care” and other “medication expenses.”

“He’s not yet strong enough to travel back to the United States for continued treatment and support from his family,” Chambers said. “This fundraiser is our lifeline to get him through this.”

Corey addressed his expensive recovery himself in a statement to TMZ Friday.

Rick, meanwhile, told the outlet that his son “is a grown man” and “will deal with his life as he sees fit.”
