Andrea Ivanova claims to have the ‘biggest lips in the world’.
Since beginning her transformation journey in January 2018, she’s had 32 injections of hyaluronic acid in her lips, leaving people wondering how she manages to eat.
When 28-year-old Andrea recently posted a picture on Instagram of her at a Greek restaurant, she received countless judgemental comments.
‘Can you even eat like this?’ wrote on Instagram user, while another questioned: ‘Is she eating out of a straw?’
Others wondered if she’d had a reaction to the food.
‘Were you allergic to the food?’ a user Wendy commented. Another fan quipped: ‘Try an antihistamine, they help to reduce the swelling.’
However, Andrea, a former psychology student from Bulgaria, doesn’t have any issues when eating and insists she isn’t phased by what strangers have to say.
‘I’m told it’s “too much” or that I have a very vulgar, scandalous appearance. That I’m ugly,’ she says. ‘But I don’t pay attention to their words. I want to be different from everyone else.’
Andrea began making changes to her appearance seven years ago out of a desire to have a unique look.
‘My motive to change externally is because since I was little I always liked eccentric and interesting and different appearences,’ she explained on TikTok.
‘I like this artificial beauty and exaggerated things. I don’t like boring, ordinary appearances.’
Since then she has also had 12 injections in her chin, jawline, and cheeks, as well as a breast augmentation. Her current appearance is a far cry from some of the ‘before’ pictures she’s shared of herself prior to any enhancements.
While Andrea is happy with her looks, she admits that her loved ones have struggled with her transformation.
‘My friends have no qualms about going out with me and they accept me for who I am,’ she explains. ‘They are used to looking at me now with big lips, so are no longer impressed by it all.
‘But my parents and grandparents constantly tell me my lips are huge and that I look scary to them.’
Still, Andrea remains unphased and, despite criticism, enjoys the attention that having the largest lips in the world brings.
